Hypnospace Outlaw is Her Story meets Papers Please, but set in the internet of 1999, a hellish landscape of GeoCities inspired web pages. It’s your job to police this mess of midi files and gifs, so let’s see how Matthew and Alice get on in this Hypnospace Outlaw gameplay. There is also a hamster involved.
In Hypnospace Outlaw you are paid to keep the internet clean of copyrighted material, bullies and other dubious acitvities. To find these crimes you need to know where to look, which is where the Her Story similarities kick in - you have to find the right keywords to search for hidden sites and make sense of the sprawling community. Once you’ve found the crimes it’s time to drop the ban hammer and send of your report to your corporate overlords. If you like playing as The Man as much as Matthew seemingly does, you’ll enjoy this demo.
