Hopefully this gives you a taste of Dying Light’s battle royale credentials - it’s a game where you can as easily die to the infected as your fellow humans. Do you rush for new weapons and ambush other contestants, or do you focus on the honest business of smashing in zombies. As you’ll see, we each tackle it in a different way - from the brutal slayings of Noa to Matthew’s dreadful attempts to bring down other players. Alice hides a lot.
This Dying Light Bad Blood gameplay comes from the early access version. The full release date for Bad Blood isn’t known yet, but it’ll be interesting to see the game grow between now and then. With Battle Royale feeling a tiny bit stale in other games, it’s interesting to see some new twists on the formula. The blend of pvp and pve isn’t quite as balanced as it could be - some of the giant infected are just too potent for a single player - but we like the tension of the game.
