Our new Tropico 6 gameplay reveals best changes, features and additions coming to the game, including pirates, palaces and a holographic Presidente. Alice talks you through the 10 best Tropico 6 changes she spotted.
Tropico 6 feels like a big reaction to fan requests, from smaller tweaks - yes, you can finally move El Presidente’s palace - to bigger changes to era and edicts that give you way more flexibility to run the world you want. This isn’t a Tropico 6 beta review - we’re waiting until the final release in January for our Tropico 6 review - but Alice does quickly look over the biggest changes coming to the game and checks out some of Tropico 6’s new islands and buildings. All shown in our new Tropico 6 PC gameplay.
We visit Shackland - where an abundance of shacks makes it harder to deal with housing happiness - and also take a swing at the Chocolate Factory map, which isn’t quite the delicious paradise you would hope. Tropico 6’s new features bring lots of depth to how you tackle each new island, whether you’re boosting stats with world landmarks stolen in pirate raids, or using new travel options to create a more efficient network across various islands.
This Topico 6 preview is a quick tour of all the new features - we also look at The Broker, Swiss Money and crop efficiency. If you’d like to hear more about Tropico 6 differences and changes let us know in the comments - we’ll do our best to answer your questions or may make another video. Rock Paper Shotgun covers anything PC-related, but if there’s something you’d like to see more of, we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Tropico 6 releases on 25 January 2019 and is currently in beta on Steam - you can give the game a try for yourself. If you enjoyed this Tropico 6 preview and impressions, please do give the video a like and think about subscribing to Rock Paper Shotgun. We promise to treat you fairly - we’re not cruel dictators, honest.
